Rimawari is designed to help you track your financial portfolio. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Rimawari mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and to any associated services operated by Baudin Valentin ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is available worldwide. Our servers are located in Switzerland. Our practices comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other local regulations.
Data we collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our service. We do not collect financial account credentials, payment card details, or sensitive financial data beyond what you manually enter in the App.

We do not collect your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or any health data. We do not display advertising and do not collect data for advertising purposes.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing your user account
- Storing and displaying your portfolio data in the App
- Authenticating you when you sign in
- Detecting, diagnosing, and fixing crashes and technical errors (via Sentry)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party service. No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising networks are integrated into the App.

Sentry may process diagnostic data on servers located outside Switzerland. Sentry is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can review Sentry's data sub-processors at sentry.io/privacy.
Data storage & security
Your account and portfolio data are stored on our servers, which are located in Switzerland. Switzerland has been recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS)
- Encrypted data storage at rest
- Access controls limiting who can view your data
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email address and portfolio data) will be permanently and directly deleted.
Crash reports collected by Sentry are retained for up to 90 days and then automatically purged.
Your rights
You can contact us at any time to:
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Export your portfolio data in a readable format
- Correct or update your personal information
To submit a request, use the Contact section. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the effective date at the top of this page
- Notify you via the email address associated with your account, or via an in-app notification, at least 14 days before the changes take effect
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
